An Effingham County teenager who was killed in an crash last night has been identified as Joshua Stafford, 18, of Guyton. Stafford, a senior at Effingham County High School, was the front seat passenger inside a Honda Civic which was being driven by Wade Hall, 18, of Guyton. Hall sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to Memorial Medical University Medical Center where he remains.

 

Initial reports indicate that Hall was traveling north on Midland near Courthouse Roads when his vehicle crossed into the path of an Acura sedan driven by Rebecca Hart, 27, of Guyton. Hart and three small children were taken to area hospitals with what appear to be non life threatening injuries.

 

An autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab in Savannah today.

 

This crash remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
