GUYTON -- Interim Public Safety Director Stacy Strickland was terminated by City of Guyton officials Wednesday. Strickland was on administrative leave pending the results of an Effingham County Sheriff's Office investigation requested by Mayor Jeff Lariscy. The termination occurred shortly after city officials were notified of the findings.
