SMYRNA — Halstead/Vertex, proud members of the HMTX family of companies, was honored by The Home Depot with the 2020 Supply Chain Partner of the Year Award.

The award recognizes the strong partnership between The Home Depot and Halstead/Vertex.

HMTX is a strategic supplier supporting all The Home Depot businesses, and this award recognizing the achievements of the supply chain team that supports The Home Depot.

The Supply Chain Partner of the Year award was given for the following reasons: always shipping complete and on time; always focusing on innovation; supporting risk mitigation; and being exclusive to The Home Depot in the retail space.

This year, The Home Depot’s award presentation looked different in the age of COVID where winners were honored virtually.

“I could not be prouder of this army of people who oftentimes work behind the scenes and away from the limelight to ensure that we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time, said Brian Greene, HMTX’s EVP, Global Supply Chain. “It starts with our amazing production partners and their never-ending pursuit of making the perfect product. It carries through with our strategic partners who ensure that we have the shipping capacity, systems and visibility to make keeps this well-oiled machine humming. Finally, our Asia and US teams take it to the finish line with exceptional production management, distribution, and customer support. I am honored to be part of this world-class team of people we have assembled here at HMTX.”

Said Eric Anderson, president, Halstead, “I am extremely proud of our entire supply chain team. From our plants, to our logistics partners, and to our distribution teams, congratulations! These are our business’s frontline workers who made many difficult sacrifices to ensure we could serve our customers continuously and without interruption during the pandemic. Finally, a special thank you and congratulations to Brian Greene, our EVP of global supply chain, whose leadership and unwavering pursuit of excellence was needed during a most trying and unprecedented time for all of us.”
