Hunter named to hospital authority

LaMeisha R. Hunter was sworn in as the Guyton representative on the Effingham Hospital Board of Trustees. Hunter was selected as the newest member of the board of trustees on Aug. 4 to fill the chair of Dr. Franklin Goldwire, who served the hospital authority since 2005.  

Effingham Hospital and Care Center CEO Norma Jean Morgan, on behalf of the hospital’s administration and board of trustees, congratulated Hunter on her preferment and welcomed her to the hospital team.  

The Board of Trustees also selected David E. Johnson of Johnson, Johnson, Crabtree Architects, PC, to complete the architectural drawings for the new modernization project of the hospital and care center.
