The Effingham Industrial Development Authority’s recruitment efforts are extending to making the community Work Ready.
IDA CEO John Henry is hoping to get more Effingham residents to take part in the Georgia Work Ready program.
Georgia Work Ready was created to show to potential industries and businesses that the state’s workforce is skilled and can adapt. The program calls for certain sectors to undergo testing, and test takers and potential employees can show their level of certification to hiring businesses.
