Dr. Christopher J. Mathews has joined Effingham Family Medicine, 800 Towne Park Drive, Suite 100, Rincon. 

Mathews is a board-certified physician through the American Board of Family Medicine. He is actually returning to Effingham Family Medicine, where he practiced from 2008-2012. 

Mathews completed medical school at the Uniformed Services University of Health Science in Bethesda, Maryland. He served his internship and residency at Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, Georgia.
