PORT WENTWORTH -- Mayor Gary Norton has called a special meeting of the mayor and Port Wentworth City Council for Wednesday at 6:30 pm at City Hall. 

According to the city’s charter, only the business stated in the mayor’s call for the special meeting may be transacted at the meeting. The business the mayor has called to transact is for a motion to divide the city, as well as public comment.
