SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham County Rebels made quick work of the Metter Tigers on Monday.

Ethan Johnson and Ryan Harley silenced the Tigers' bats, combining to allow just four hits in a 10-0 rout that lasted just five innings.

Effingham County got the only run it would need in the first frame when Jerid Stokes singled in a run.

The Rebels added five runs in the third inning as Austin Mealor, Cullen Wake, Christian Campbell and Jordan Rahn each drove in runs.

Rahn, Campbell, Wake and Stokes all finished with multiple hits.
