Rincon City Council Election 2025: Candidates Announced for Mayor, Three Council Seats

RINCON, Ga. — The City of Rincon has announced its qualified candidates for the Nov. 4, 2025, municipal election. Voters will decide three at-large council seats and the mayoral post, with winners serving four-year terms.

Mayor Kevin Exley, who recently completed treatment for head and neck cancer and has returned to his duties, will seek reelection. He is unopposed.

Qualified candidates for the three at-large council seats are:

  • Jesse “Ben” Blackwell Jr. (incumbent)

  • Timothy Milner (incumbent)

  • Patrick Kirkland (former Rincon councilmember)

  • Eric Hills (2023 candidate for mayor)

  • Trisha Boyett (Effingham County Industrial Development Authority board member and Edward Jones financial advisor)

  • Veronica King (Administrative Assistant of the Criminal Investigation Division at Chatham County Police Department)
