Smith to speak at Chamber breakfast

Vance Smith, Georgia Department of Transportation Commissioner, will be the featured speaker at the next Effingham Chamber of Commerce membership breakfast.
 
The breakfast will be held Sept. 9 at 7:30 a.m. at the  First Baptist Church of Rincon. 
 
Said IDA CEO John Henry: “Transportation is a key issue, not only in Effingham County, but the entire nation. It is a vital infrastructure concern facing our nation, our economy and our economic role well into the future. It is essential that we inform ourselves on who the decision makers are and what the future holds for us in regards to transportation. 
 
“Vance Smith holds the key to many projects and programs that will have tremendous direct impact for our area and our state for years to come.”
