GUYTON -- South Effingham's bench players were confident they knew what was going to happen. They have seen similar things many times before.
As teammate Jaydon Parrish broke into the clear all alone with the ball against Ware County on Friday, they started celebrating a goal before it was scored. Some of the Mustangs smiled, others jumped and a few put their hands to their faces as they watched an awesome display.
Parrish tallied two goals in a 17-second span late in the first half to give his team a 3-0 lead. It went on to win 5-0.
