State Patrol investigating Monday morning fatal wreck

The Georgia State Patrol is continuing to investigate an accident Monday morning that claimed the life of a toddler.

The accident occurred on Highway 80 near George Road, between Bloomingdale and Eden, when a passenger vehicle and a log truck collided.

State troopers and Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene.
