SPRINGFIELD -- The high probability of inclement weather has promoted a venue change for the Veterans Day ceremony slated at Veterans Park of Effingham County on Friday.

The 11 a.m. event will be conducted in the auditorium at the Effingham County Board of Education office at 405 N. Ash St.

The featured speaker will be the Rev. Nick Pumfrey of Clyo and Silver Hill Methodist churches.
