A woman died Friday afternoon following a single-vehicle accident on Highway 119 north, according to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Judy Rentz, 64, of Clyo, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to ECSO spokesman Detective David Ehsanipoor, the woman, driving a 2000 Buick, went off the road near Highway 119’s intersection with Laurel Hill Road shortly before 1 p.m.
Rentz may have had a medical condition prior to the wreck.
