Broun on the mark on Obama criticism

Dear Editor,

It appears that we still have some smart congressmen here in Georgia. One of them is Mr. Kingston and another one is Mr. Paul Broun, representative for District 10.

Please join Georgia Congressman Paul Broun in standing up for our rights and questioning the President-elect Obama's intentions. Mr. Broun said he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist or fascist dictatorship.

“It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force,” Rep. Broun said of Obama in an interview with The Associated Press. “I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may — may not, I hope not — but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism. That’s exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it’s exactly what the Soviet Union did,” Broun said. “When he’s proposing to have a national security force that’s answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he’s showing me signs of being Marxist.”

President-elect Obama’s speech regarding the building of a civilian military force (it might have a nicer name than KGB) is on youtube.com. I am sure many of you are aware what prompted Congressman Broun to speak up so straightforward about this issue!  If we, the people, don’t get involved, we will allow others to make decisions for us. Is this what we want?

I urge you to please stand up, join Mr. Broun, and help us fight for our nation, our freedom, for the conservative party of our country that unfortunately gets smaller and weaker. We should not take our freedom for granted if we want to continue to have it.

Take a minute to write to your conservative congressman today.
