Dasher does Effingham proud

Dear Editor,

My friends, if you haven’t yet and do not have plans yet — you must make plans to see the Patsy Cline show at the Savannah Theater. We were fortunate to have a pair of tickets given to us for Christmas and went to the performance last week. It was great!

And, can you believe that Effingham’s own Hannah Dasher was Patsy Cline?  She was and she came through with an outstanding performance.

Hannah, who grew up in Effingham County, has been known as a “good” singer by the community. With this performance she surpassed the “good” to what I thought was an outstanding performance.

We can do nothing but wish Hannah continued success with her singing … with the right moment and the right contact, who knows where she will go … on to greater things I hope. It’s such a good feeling to see a young person who has grown up in our midst to develop into such a marvelous talent.

Good luck Hannah, we’re proud of you.

Ruth Lee
