Dear Editor,

My name is Angela Brewer and I am writing this letter to thank the 911 dispatcher on April 13 who helped me when I was stranded on the side of the road on I-16 westbound, somewhere in Effingham County.

She sent me an officer who stayed with me until a cab came to get me and take me home. I appreciate Sandra or Sandy, who I called at least twice. She kept me calm and comforted me that the sheriff would find me because I had no lights in my car or a flashlight. Thanks for a job well done. I know that if I ever need any assistance in Effingham County that you all are there to help.

Thanks to the sheriff for assisting me and staying with me until the cab came. Keep up the good work.
