Treutlen House appreciates support

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the boys of the Treutlen House, our board and staff we would like to say a gigantic thank you. Words could never express to the many civic clubs, churches, Sunday school classes, women’s groups, businesses, Christian organizations, loving families and individuals how blessed we are for your generous outpouring for the Treutlen House.

As most of you know, the home faces a real crisis due to the state budget cutback and the redirection of children in our state. Our community has rallied and said we want to keep Treutlen House open and alive as a refuge for the precious children of our state.

Please continue to pray for our mission as we move forward to meet our financial goal and management decisions. As of today, we are three-fourths of the way in reaching $50,000. We have a donor who will match up to $50,000 which is our needed amount to operate the home through these very difficult times.

God is teaching me and our board how mighty he is even in tough financial times, and he is using our wonderful friends like you to bless this work of providing for our children. If anyone would like to have more information on the Treutlen House, please contact the home at 754-9797.
