The South Effingham 10 and under Angels won the WFC South Beach Fast-pitch Challenge in Brunswick.
The Angels went 5-0 behind the pitching of Kerigan Newman, Shelby Wilson and Olivia Laverenz. They combined for 21 strikeouts.
In the first game, the Angels held off Georgia Thunder 3-0. They beat The Bad Katz 10-2 in the second game as Alexis Studier went 3-for-3, Wilson was 2-for-3 and Naomi Sapp was 2-for-3.
Behind defense from Brooke Strickland, Summer Lewis, Autumn Conaway, Carli Royal and Allie Kieffer, the Angels downed the Swarm 6-2. They then beat the Stingrays 8-0.
The Angels won the title game with a 14-2 victory over the Swarm, scoring eight runs in the second inning and five in the third.
The Angels will travel to The King of the Mountain tournament in north Georgia.
