Lady Mustangs stay unbeaten

GUYTON -- The undefeated South Effingham Lady Mustangs rolled to their seventh straight victory Tuesday night, beating Beaufort 60-27.

The Lady Mustangs enjoyed balanced scoring. Destinee Owens tallied led with 12 points. Mallori Jenkins and Jillian Pelote were close behind with 10 and Maleece Newbill chipped in nine.

Darien Watkins scored 21 points for the Lady Eagles (3-2).
