Josh Reddick (Oakland Athletics) — Reddick’s average has tumbled to .208. He is in the midst of an 0-for-12 skid. He had a double and drove in three runs last Monday in a win over Toronto. He also has gone 11 games without a home run.
For the season, Reddick has five homers and 37 runs batted in. He has 15 doubles, two triples and eight stolen bases.


JB Wendelken (Kannapolis Intimidators) — Wendelken had a rough first outing as a member of the Kannapolis Intimidators. He surrendered five earned runs on five hits and one walk against Hagerstown, lasting just 2/3 of an inning.
Wendelken is 2-1 with an earned run average of 3.43 for the season. He has notched 10 saves in 27 appearances. Wendelken has struck out 54 while walking 20 and allowing 59 hits in 65 innings.
Wendelken was traded by the Boston Red Sox last week to the Chicago White Sox as part of the deal that brought Jake Peavy to the Boston big club. He was not listed as one of Boston’s top 60 prospects by SoxProspects.com
