JB Wendelken (Winston-Salem Dash) — The Chicago White Sox have promoted Wendelken to high Single-A, making the short drive from Kannapolis to Winston-Salem.
In two games with the Dash, he has allowed two hits and one unearned run in 2 2/3 innings. He has walked three and struck out three.
On the year, Wendelken is 2-1 with an earned run average of 3.11. He has fanned 65 in 72 1/3 innings, allowing 69 hits and walking 24.


Zach Dotson (Kingsport Mets) — The former Effingham County High star got his first action of the season Aug. 13, allowing two runs on two hits in one inning while striking out one against Princeton.
