Mack sixth in 300 low hurdles at state meet

South Effingham’s Tiacara Mack took sixth in the 300 meter low hurdles at the girls state track meet in Albany.

Mack turned in a time of 47.853 seconds in the Class AAA meet. Nakela Jackson of Shaw won in 44.563.

Mack qualified for the finals in 47.59.

Effingham County’s Gabrielle Houston did not qualify for the finals in her two events, the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes.
