Harrison Stafford shot a two-day total of 153 to finish in a tie for 11th, and the Southeast section was third overall in the Georgia State Golf Association’s Junior Sectional Challenge Match, held July 21-22 at The Georgia Club in Statham.

Stafford, about to commence his senior year at South Effingham High School, shot a 76-77 to lead the Southeast boys 16-18 team. The East won the team event, and Doug Stephens of the West sectional fired a two-day total of 2-over 146 for the individual title.
