Little Tots Pre-K participated in a service learning project for the Effingham County Animal Shelter.

During the month-long project, the children were encouraged to select items to donate.

The children read books about animal shelters, charted their progress using tally marks and compared items while describing mathematical sets of more, less or the same as/equal.

The children provided essential items such as food, treats and leashes for homeless pets while they wait for their “forever home.”
