SAVANNAH — Savannah Technical College announces Asha Anumolu, RN, MSN as the college’s department head of nursing.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Technical College System of Georgia,” said Anumolu. “Technical education works hard to get students trained and into their career paths quickly and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to be a part of it. With the increasing nursing shortage throughout Southeast Georgia, this program has the potential to meet the needs of local hospitals and nursing homes.”

Anumolu has more than 20 years of experience in patient care and 14 years of experience in nursing instruction.

“Asha brings a new and complimentary background to Savannah Technical College’s nursing department,” says Marcia Jones, dean for Allied Health Programs. “I know she brings new ideas and new standards that will help bring fresh ideas, new programs and world-class education to the forefront of the department.”

Anumolu received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Columbia Union College and her Master of Science in nursing from Georgia Southern University.
