A new annual event the open house will include free food, prizes and live music by The City Hotel Band. Dress is business casual.

“We had such a great time last year at the grand opening of the new Alumni Center that we decided to make it an annual tradition,” said Cheryl Anderson, director of alumni development. “We have a wonderful location with our front door overlooking Abercorn Street and our back door opening into the beautiful arboretum and gardens of Armstrong’s famous Quad. All of our alumni should come to experience it.”

At the Armstrong Alumni Association’s annual meeting, the association will celebrate its off-going board president Patty Parker and other retiring board members and welcome incoming president Scott Scheidt and several new board members. This year, Armstrong’s first Alumni Volunteer Awards will be presented. There will also be a special recognition for the new alumni who have just graduated in the class of 2015.
