Cub Scout Pack 295 is growing
DSC08617

Rick Seagroves, Cubmaster of Pack 295 presided over a full house at a meeting of Cub Scouts. More than 100 people were packed inside the clubhouse at Camp K.T. Wallace outside of Guyton as parents and scouts prepared for another year of scouting.  There were 33 new cubs signed up at the last meeting.  “With the number of boys signing up, we’re going to be needing some new leaders to step up and help,” Seagroves said. At the last meeting, several scouts received patches and other awards they earned over the summer and after getting assigned to dens, enjoyed ice cream and popcorn. The last two meetings have been part of the annual recruitment drive.

Cub Scouts is open to boys 7-11 years old or in grades first through fifth. For more information call 754-7156 or (912) 414-9085.
