Effingham County and South Effingham high schools hosted their college decision day programs Thursday, to recognize this year’s seniors who will attend college.

That is the date, May 1, that most U.S. colleges require high school seniors who have been admitted to accept or reject their offer of admission.

A total of 122 college-bound seniors were saluted at ECHS and 72 at SEHS.
