The Effingham College and Career Academy will host an information session about its new aircraft assembly technician program.

Aircraft assembly courses will begin with the 2015-16 school year. It will be a dual-enrollment program between ECCA and Savannah Technical College.

Rising juniors or seniors and their families who would like more information should attend the session on Dec. 4 from 7-8 p.m. at ECCA.

The aircraft assembly technician certificate program can be completed in one school year. Once students graduate from high school, they will be eligible to receive the technical certificate of credit from Savannah Tech.

Students interested in the program should speak with their high school guidance counselor or ECCA principal Travis Nesmith. To be accepted, students must meet Savannah Tech admission requirements.
