HeritageBank of the South announces Andrew Lewis Faircloth as winner of the East Region HBOS College Scholarship.

He is the son of Sean and Melissa Faircloth.  He is a 2011 graduate of South Effingham High School.  Faircloth plans to attend Armstrong Atlantic State University this fall.

HeritageBank awarded seven $500 scholarships to students across the regions it serves.  The scholarship was open to high school seniors, as well as, full time students already attending an accredited college or university.  Winners were selected based on academic accomplishments, extracurricular activities, community involvement and an essay question.
