Girl Scout Troop 30358 of Rincon made yellow ribbons in honor of the Alpha Battery soldiers. New Life Florist in Rincon donated all of the materials and taught the girls how to make the ribbons.

The girls placed the bows at Rincon City Hall, the war memorial in front of the Rincon library and at the National Guard Armory in Springfield.

The girls attend Blandford, Ebenezer and Sandhill elementary schools.
