Sarah Elizabeth Wostbrock of Guyton graduated from Berry College on Dec. 15 receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Spanish and government. She is the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Wostbrock.

Atlanta entrepreneur and Berry College trustee Sunny Park was the featured speaker as more than 130 graduates started a new chapter in their lives at fall commencement. The ceremony was streamed live via the Internet and can be accessed at www.berry.edu/webcast.

Park is the founder and chief executive officer for General Building Maintenance Inc., in Atlanta. He came to the U.S. from Korea in 1967 and attended Indiana University and the Kellogg Business School Executive Program at Northwestern University. A longtime friend and benefactor of Berry, Park was named to the college’s Board of Trustees in 2006. He also spent several years on the Berry Board of Visitors.

Joining Park on the program was Emily Pierce, a graduating senior from Dalton.

This year’s fall commencement took on added significance as the last to be held at Ford Gymnasium. Future indoor ceremonies will be held at the 131,000 square foot Steven J. Cage Athletic and Recreation Center, the newest addition to the Berry campus.
