Like their ECHS counterparts the following night, some South Effingham High School grads — Ashley Carter, Randi Cowart and Morgan Cox — donned a different choice of footwear to deal with the wet field at The Corral as a class of 330 graduated from South Effingham High School on Friday night. Family members and friends packed Rebel Field on Saturday night for the graduation ceremonies at Effingham County High School (above), and the graduates celebrated the end of their high school careers with the traditional toss of their caps into the sky. There were more than 360 graduates at ECHS as the weather held off for the ceremonies to be conducted outside.
