CLINTON, Miss. — Lauren M. Rogers of Rincon received the scholarship for Outstanding Service Award at Mississippi College’s honors day convocation.

This scholarship award is given to four undergraduate students who have made significant contributions to campus leadership and life outside of the Student Government Association.  Recipients are selected by the Student Government Association Student Senate.

The Mississippi College honors day convocation was held April 21 at First Baptist Church in Clinton.  Outstanding students were recognized for their academic achievements and service to the university.  

The highest honors presented included the student body honors awards, Hall of Fame and the Scott-Swor Founders Award.
