On Nov. 11, 17 members and two advisors from South Effingham High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) attended the Fall Leadership Conference at the Classic Center in Athens. This conference consists of leadership workshops, networking opportunities and competition for FBLA members from all across the state.

This allowed members to network and get to know other FBLA members and share their ideas. Students participated in a Monopoly tournament and Battle of the Chapters competition. The Battle of the Chapters team consisted of Brandon Cody (chapter president), Connor Hixon (vice-president) and Donald Quinones.

The team finished in the top 10 for the written test. They will now advance to state competition in March.
