South Effingham Middle School hosted its career day on March 7.
South Effingham High School FFA officers president Brandon Dickerson and secretary Whitney Smith, along with their advisor, Mose Mock, spoke to seventh and eighth graders. Dickerson and Smith shared with students what FFA meant to them, their favorite memories and the fun activities that come along with being in the club.
Students were able to ask questions and get a first hand look at the many opportunities that the club has to offer.
Next year SEMS will be getting its own FFA program where they will be able to represent their school and be more prepared when they get to the high school level.
