The South Effingham Middle School competition cheer team won first place at the Peachtree Ridge Invitational.

SEMS cheerleaders won by a 47-point margin in the competition at Peachtree Ridge High School.

Effingham County High School introduced its new mascot, Rowdy the Rebel, this week. Inspired by popular sports mascots, Rowdy will appear at school events, pep rallies, and games, giving students a fresh way to engage and celebrate school spirit.
