On Oct. 9, South Effingham Middle School eighth grade Roadrunners team had an awards ceremony giving medals to those students who had the highest averages in each academic subject each period. They also awarded a citizenship award, principal’s award and top AR points. Students with perfect attendance for the nine weeks were given certificates and all students meeting the AR goal were given certificates.
