SEMS Y Club holds first aid drive

The South Effingham Middle School Y-Club hosted a school-wide First Aid Drive to collect items to restock the school clinic. A wide variety of items were collected, including bandages, cough drops, first aid creams, antibacterial soaps and wipes. Y-Club offered an ice cream treat to the homeroom bringing the most items which went to Mrs. Connie Carter's homeroom for bringing in 38 items.

From her beginnings as a kindergarten paraprofessional to her vital role in the district’s testing office, Nixon has impacted generations of students and educators with her work ethic, professionalism and heart.
