Sand Hill Elementary media center sponsored a Book character pumpkin contest as a book week activity.

Classes were asked to pick one of their favorite books and create a character from that book using a pumpkin.  Classes chose a variety of books.

A local author, Jane Hill had the difficult task of choosing a winner from each grade level.
