Caroline Brennan was crowned South Effingham High School’s 2013 homecoming queen at halftime of Friday night’s football game against Glenn Hills at The Corral.

First runner-up was Sara Lynn Bowser and second runner-up was Katie Lewis.

Brennan is the daughter of Peter and Anna Brennan.

Effingham County High School introduced its new mascot, Rowdy the Rebel, this week. Inspired by popular sports mascots, Rowdy will appear at school events, pep rallies, and games, giving students a fresh way to engage and celebrate school spirit.
