SAVANNAH – Savannah Technical College will have more than 250 students to participate in the spring graduation ceremony, including graduates receiving associate degrees, professional diplomas, technical certificates of credit and general education diplomas.

The commencement speaker will be P.A. “Tak” Argentinis, chairman of Elan Technology, Inc. The ceremony is slated to begin Tuesday at 7:30 Savannah Civic Center’s Johnny Mercer Theatre.

Argentinis served as president and CEO of the General Electric Trading Company (GETC) since September 1985 and was vice president of International Trade development for GETC since its inception in July 1982.  

He joined General Electric on the Manufacturing Management Training Program in 1966. He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Western New England College and his masters in industrial administration from Union College.
