The annual Rincon Community Thanksgiving Service will be hosted by First Baptist Church of Rincon on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Music, scripture and prayers will be offered by numerous local churches, and the message will be brought by Evangelist Jay Lowder of Wichita Falls, Texas. Plans are under way for an Effingham County crusade in 2013 with Lowder as the evangelist.

The Thanksgiving service offering will go to the guest speaker and to the “Loving Our Neighbor” project with Effingham Habitat for Humanity. After the service, there will be a reception in the Memorial Chapel of the church.
