Join in for an annual event designed to encourage, honor and remember those touched by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. There are over 13,000 people with Alzheimer’s disease in Coastal Georgia. That number does not include the family and friends impacted by the disease.

If you or a loved one’s life has been changed by Alzheimer’s disease or other type of dementia, please join the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Vocals performed by Matthew Jones. Light refreshments will be served.  This is a one-hour long event. Attendees are encouraged to bring an ornament to hang on our holiday tree in honor/memory of your loved one.

Interested Coastal Georgians will gather at the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, Coastal Georgia Regional Office located at 201 Television Circle in Savannah on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. Please call (912) 920-2231 with questions.

“We will unify to light a candle of hope for those affected by dementia. Please join us for an evening or hope, honor and remembrance,” Jenny House, programs and services director, Coastal Georgia Regional Office.
