Mansion on Forsyth Park prepares for New Year's soiree

The AAA Four-Diamond Mansion on Forsyth Park is the place to be this New Year’s Eve. From drinks and dancing to a late-night feast and early morning breakfast spread, party into 2008 Mansion-style. Special room rates are also being offered to extend the fun overnight during the holidays.

Viennese Ballroom Extravaganza
On Dec. 31, a spectacular four-course New Year’s Eve dinner, cocktails and dancing will be hosted in the Viennese Ballroom at the Mansion on Forsyth Park until 1 a.m.

Brenda Morie will be performing classic jazz with popular influences along with her band, the Brenda Morie Band.
Morie’s first solo CD features special guest artists such as Grammy-nominated drummer Chet McCracken, the Doobie Brothers and guitarist Chris Pinnick form “Chicago.”

Dinner will be served at 9 p.m. The exquisite four-course dinner consists of a Torchon of Hudson Valley Foie Gras, petite winter arugula salad with crispy proscuito and smoked pinenuts served with petite curry spiced “lobster shot,” a duo of Chilean seabass and Sarawak pepper seared filet mignon, and, to complete the delicious offering, warm chocolate and toffee bread pudding, eggnog anglaise with petite vanilla poached pear.

Cocktails are complimentary from 8-9 p.m., and a cash bar will be offered after 9 p.m. Also included on this special night are party favors and a complimentary glass of champagne at the stroke of midnight. Continue to ring in the New Year with a breakfast feast from 1-3 a.m.

Pricing for ‘Ringing in the New Year at the Mansion’ is $199 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
