SAVANNAH — The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs is now registering students for its spring visual arts classes and one-day workshops.  Day and evening classes are offered in ceramics, metals and jewelry-making for children, teens and adults.  All classes are held at the S.P.A.C.E. studios, located at 9 W. Henry St.

Classes begin March 24 and run for eight weeks. Class fees include instruction, use of studio space, use of equipment and all materials and tools required.

A new series of one-day workshops is now being offered, providing an intensive day of hands-on learning and instruction with accomplished ceramics, metals and jewelry artists Chris Cannon, Lisa Bradley, David Peterson, Brian Fort and Kathryn Riechert.

Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged.  Class schedules and registration forms are available online at www.savannahga.gov/arts or by calling (912) 651-6783.
