SPRINGFIELD — Get ready to stroll with your “Little Darlin’” down Santa Claus Lane as the Mars Theatre wraps up its 2019 live event season with a show for the whole family. “Silver Bells and Diamonds” is set Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.

The Diamonds’ newly revamped holiday show features high-energy holiday favorites everyone will enjoy. The show opens with a “Jingle Bells” medley. Then, the group will sing classic tunes from the 1950s and early 1960s, featuring their signature harmony-filled vocals and always entertaining stage presence.

Just before intermission, the Diamonds will sing their biggest hit, “Little Darlin’.” The song, released in 1957, continues to sell worldwide and has been dubbed “the National Anthem of Rock and Roll.” It has sold approximately 20 million copies and appears on the soundtracks for Happy Days and American Graffiti.

The second half of the show is a fast-paced ride through many of the great holiday favorites.
