Effingham Theatre to stage Little Women next month

Effingham Theatre will present “Little Women” at the Guyton Civic Center on May 20-21 and 27-28 and a matinee performance on May 22.

The show is a dramatization of the classic novel written by Louisa May Alcott. The play follows the life of four sisters as they grow up through war and poverty, death and marriage. Passes are on sale now and can be purchased by calling Tamara Tyre of Effingham Theatre at (912) 657-1120.

Passes cost $10 for adults and $6 for students for the performances on May 20, 21, 27 and 28, and $8 for adults and $4 for students for the matinee performance on May 22.

The shows will start at 7 p.m. on May 20, 21, 27 and 28 with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. on May 22 with the doors opening at 3:30 p.m.

The Guyton Civic Center is at 505 Magnolia St. in Guyton.
