Mr. and Mrs. Craig Ambrose of Rincon are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Macie Lin, to Ryan Patrick Tice, son of Robert Tice of Pooler and Cheryl Tice of Springfield.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ellen Wiley and the late Ralph Wiley of Springfield and Mary Lee Ambrose and the late Joe Ambrose of Rincon.

Macie is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School and graduated summa cum laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education. She is currently employed by the Cobb County School System.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Betty H. Wine and the late Merlin Wine of Staunton, Va., and Lou Tice of Pooler and William Tice of Midway.

Ryan is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School and graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in logistics and intermodal transportation with a minor in management. He is currently employed by Farnsworth Logistics.

An evening wedding is being planned for June 9, 2012. All family and friends are welcome to attend. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Atlanta.
